PRACTICE

Interdisciplinary in character and international in scope, the Transitions Team studies risk factors for complicated bereavement, factors that promote resilience, and processes of meaning reconstruction in grief therapy.

As an academic and practicing psychologist, I am keenly interested in how people construct meaning in their lives, especially in the wake of loss and bereavement. This focus is reflected in my research, teaching, training and psychotherapy.
